Help us raise much-needed funds

Do you enjoy meeting new people, experiencing the excitement of Election Day and helping ACT raise needed funds, all at the same time?  If so, the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections Office Adopt a Precinct (AAP) Program may be just what you are looking for!

This program involves a partnership between the Supervisor of Elections Office and many non-profits such as ACT.  It works like this:  The Supervisor of Elections Office provides a 2 or 3-hour training, and then on Election Day (August 14, Primary Election, and November 6, General Election), you are assigned to work a precinct.  You can either work all day (about 14 hours) or a half-shift of 7 hours in which a partner would work the other half.  The funds you earn for working that day are paid directly to ACT which then puts the money to good use helping animals.  It’s a win-win proposition!

Interested?  Please contact us to let us know and we will forward your information to the Supervisor of Elections (SOE) Office.  The deadline for submitting this information to the SOE Office is May 1st so don’t delay.  Any questions or to sign up, please contact us at info@actampa.org or call (813) 250-1234.

Don’t live in Hillsborough County?  No problem!  Several other counties (including Pasco and Sarasota) have the AAP Program.  Not sure?  Just call your local SOE Office to find out.  We look forward to hearing from you soon!
