Join ACT at the 24-Hour Adoptathon
August 18, 2008
ACT is proud to be a part of the first ever 24-hour adoptathon in Tampa, FL. Beginning Friday August 22 at 6 pm and running for 24 hours straight until Saturday the 23rd at 6 pm, we’ll be talking to the public about spay/neuter while lots of dogs are being adopted!
The event starts with a ceremonial “break the chains” by Commissioner Rose Ferlita at 6:30 pm. There will be lots of dogs from local Tampa Bay area shelters looking for their new forever home. Participating shelters include Lost Angels Animal Rescue, Heidi’s Legacy and Hillsborough County Animal Services. You can also check out ACT’s neuter scooter, which is used to transport animals to the clinic.
